Climate Change.

Climate Change is not a made up story. Because of the scientific research, increase in temperature. Sea waters increase toxicity.

Many scientists dedicate their lives to prove that climate change is a real thing but you have people like Donald Trump say its fictional. One way we see this is the rise of Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere raised 95% since 1950.

Another way is by the increase of temperature in the past year the temperature already raised by 1.7 degrees celsius. This cause the Antarctic and the Arctic to melt and raised 4.7 millimeters in the past year.

As Well as temperature increase sea water toxicity has increased dramatically causing sea life to dye. This include the coral reefs in Australia causing them to have a “bleaching” effect, which basically they lose their colour and soon die.

This is why climate change is not made up. If we don’t do anything soon, the Earth will heat up and soon the sea life might die out.

School Uniform Persuasive Writing

Students should wear school uniform. This is because it makes everyone equal, get ready faster in the mornings, makes you proud of your school.

By wearing our school uniform we are made all equal. For example, a survey was released by the Government and done by school students in the U.K in 2015 say that 18% of bullying in schools is based on what clothes they wear, you can find this at https://www.ditchthelabel.org/research-papers/the-annual-bullying-survey-2015/. So if we wore uniforms instead of mufti many kids wouldn’t be bullied and would be equal. So they would focus more on the talents and strengths of the students instead of how they looked.So, would you want to be bullied on how you look? Or would you want to be equal?

As well as being equal, by wearing your uniform you are being proud of your school. This also could be a bad thing since if you do something horrible in public and your in uniform, the parents could be like “I don’t want to send my kids to that school if that person behaves like that” which puts the school reputation up, but if you do good things people might look at the school and think highly of them. If I were a parent I would send my kids to a school that takes pride in their uniform instead of people who don't.

Alongside with being equal, and being proud, by having uniform, it also speeds up your morning routine, instead of spending countless minutes on picking what you’re going to wear today, you can just grab your uniform and put it on. With all these positive effects there's also a negative. Due to the price of the uniform, in some schools, a full set or the uniform can cost anything from 100-500 dollars. This can become very stressful for parents and families that aren’t financially ready. For example, an article called  ‘School uniforms: Good for kids or just another expense?’ published by Hannah Martin shows in a survey recently done on parents say ‘88% of parents have a financial stress over paying for their kids uniform’. I can see how this is can become an issue for some parents since money can be hard to make but easy to spend.

Students should wear school uniform. This is because it makes everyone equal also gets you ready faster in the mornings, and makes you proud of your school. So without school uniform, people would get picked for what they wear, and we would lose the sense of pride for our school.

SEXXXY 1 Sound effects in “The Power of One” were used effectively.	For example John G Avildsen  used this technique during the hand him up scene with the chicken hanging.	This makes the audience feel  the intensity in the scene.	The director's purpose was to make the scene more dramatic.	This combined with music made this more dramatic .	This can be link to the film “Star Wars” with the effect of the lightsabers where they fight each others.
SEXXXY 2 Along with sound effects, Low angle and high angle shots were used amazingly in the film.	For example with the scene of Geel Piet And Sgt Boorman in the prison.	This makes  us feel that Sgt Boorman has authorities and power over Geel Piet.	This was done to show that prisoners  never had power over the guards.	Combined with costume made us think they were in a prison with the costumes of the prisoners and the guards.	This can be seen later on in the film outside the concert where Sgt Boorman is beating Geel Piet up that Sgt Boorman had way more power than Geel Piet did.
SEXXXY 3 Close ups were really important during the film along side the sound effects and low and high angle shots.	For example we see this with the poo in the the scene where Geel Piet had to eat poo.	This created sad effect to see someone do this to others.	This was done to show punishments for not following rules and orders.	Combine with the sound effect of the flies this made us thought it was actual poo not fake poo.	This can be linked to almost to any film where there would be close ups of other people's faces  and their emotions and feelings.
SEXXXY 4 Symbolism was another important technique, alongside the  closeups, sound effects and low and high angle shots.	For example with the scene where we see the medicine man help P,k.	This  shows us that elephants were symbolising courage and strength.	The purpose was to show deeper meaning to the elephants.	Combined with a flashback during the fighting scene of P,k and Gideon's fight where P.K gets knocked out and has a flashback to the scene wit the elephants which gave him to courage to fight more.	This can be linked to other items in the film such as the Bracelet given to him by his mother, which symbolised love and was given to Marry by P.k.
