Climate Change.

Climate Change is not a made up story. Because of the scientific research, increase in temperature. Sea waters increase toxicity.

Many scientists dedicate their lives to prove that climate change is a real thing but you have people like Donald Trump say its fictional. One way we see this is the rise of Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere raised 95% since 1950.

Another way is by the increase of temperature in the past year the temperature already raised by 1.7 degrees celsius. This cause the Antarctic and the Arctic to melt and raised 4.7 millimeters in the past year.

As Well as temperature increase sea water toxicity has increased dramatically causing sea life to dye. This include the coral reefs in Australia causing them to have a “bleaching” effect, which basically they lose their colour and soon die.

This is why climate change is not made up. If we don’t do anything soon, the Earth will heat up and soon the sea life might die out.

School Uniform Persuasive Writing

Students should wear school uniform. This is because it makes everyone equal, get ready faster in the mornings, makes you proud of your school.

By wearing our school uniform we are made all equal. For example, a survey was released by the Government and done by school students in the U.K in 2015 say that 18% of bullying in schools is based on what clothes they wear, you can find this at https://www.ditchthelabel.org/research-papers/the-annual-bullying-survey-2015/. So if we wore uniforms instead of mufti many kids wouldn’t be bullied and would be equal. So they would focus more on the talents and strengths of the students instead of how they looked.So, would you want to be bullied on how you look? Or would you want to be equal?

As well as being equal, by wearing your uniform you are being proud of your school. This also could be a bad thing since if you do something horrible in public and your in uniform, the parents could be like “I don’t want to send my kids to that school if that person behaves like that” which puts the school reputation up, but if you do good things people might look at the school and think highly of them. If I were a parent I would send my kids to a school that takes pride in their uniform instead of people who don't.

Alongside with being equal, and being proud, by having uniform, it also speeds up your morning routine, instead of spending countless minutes on picking what you’re going to wear today, you can just grab your uniform and put it on. With all these positive effects there's also a negative. Due to the price of the uniform, in some schools, a full set or the uniform can cost anything from 100-500 dollars. This can become very stressful for parents and families that aren’t financially ready. For example, an article called  ‘School uniforms: Good for kids or just another expense?’ published by Hannah Martin shows in a survey recently done on parents say ‘88% of parents have a financial stress over paying for their kids uniform’. I can see how this is can become an issue for some parents since money can be hard to make but easy to spend.

Students should wear school uniform. This is because it makes everyone equal also gets you ready faster in the mornings, and makes you proud of your school. So without school uniform, people would get picked for what they wear, and we would lose the sense of pride for our school.

Should Zoos Shut Down

Should Zzoos be shut down?
No, because they provide care for animals, and even educate us.

I don’t think zoos should be shut down because they provide care for animals that have been injured in the wild, they do this by feeding them, helping them with their injuries, unlike in the wild zoos keep the animals safe whereas in the wild they could get killed.

They also provide us with the education, most of us won’t be able to see koala’s or even tigers in the wild, but in zoos, we can see how they are like and their habits.

This is why I think zoos should not shut down and release in the wild.

Drug Use In Sports

Should drugs be allowed in sports? Well, it depends on what type of drugs. Drugs like paracetamol, panadol should be allowed, drugs like steroids shouldn’t.

Drugs like panadol and paracetamol should be allowed in sports because these don’t help them enhance their performance, it just helps them out with headaches and sore muscles so they can perform at their best without the worries of something like headaches screwing with them.

But drugs that help them enhance their performance is a NO! Since it would be unfair the other athletes where they work so hard for something and someone can just beat them by taking an injection or a pill to boost them physically.

So this is why I think drugs should/shouldn’t be allowed in sports. They ruin the whole purpose of sports. Sports is supposed to be fun and competitive not ruining games just because you want to win and doing anything like taking drugs just to win. But then you got the people that take painkillers these should be allowed since they're not enhancing their performance as much as the other types of drugs.

Risk Or Challenge Creative Writing

Have you ever been 20 meters above ground zooming tree to tree? Well I have, it was on the level 5b at a place called Adrenaline Forest. Getting up there was a challenge, not as much as a challenge of zooming tree to tree on a zip line full of adrenaline. As I got up for my go, my heart sank to the bottom of my chest as I stared below me, everyone below me was small like ants and the trees as tall as the the Eiffel Tower. I hooked my carrabeena onto the wire as I was instructed. My fellow school mates cheering me on Go Xing! Go Xing! Go Xing!

I trembled in fear as I leaped off and zoomed across to the other platform as I thought... My heart sunk, all of a sudden I stopped. I looked around, I was stuck, with another peer about to leap. My heart beating as fast as a cheetah chasing its prey. I struggled in hurry, trying to pull myself to the other platform which seemed like an eternity.

I’m meters off the platform, I leaned back trying to reach the platform with my legs. I feel the wire shaking and heard the peer screaming HURRY! HURRY! HURRY! I finally managed to reach the platform with my right foot, with the peer closing in, I give it my all in my final attempt to pull myself in, I managed to pull myself onto the platforms with with seconds to spare. My heart beats are like hummingbirds flapping their wings, and legs as wobbly as jelly. I let the peer that was behind to to go as the calmed from that rush of adrenaline.

I was up to the last zipline till I reached ground level. Another peer was coming to my platform from another tree in the distance, the tree leaned the way he was coming from like a fish pulling against a fishing rod. My legs wobble as I imagined the tree snapping. The end tree looked like a thin twig from the platform I was standing on. I took my final leap of faith, the wind pushing against my face made it very hard to visualize the platform. As I imagined millions and millions of outcomes, I was frightened. Nearly frightened to death.

The tree got bigger and bigger as I got closer. I prepared for the impact of which was gonna come when I strike barricade. I lifted my legs ready to absorb the impact. I miss judged. Bam straight into the side with my shoulder, the pain was nothing at most it just left a scar for me to remember my time there. We were all rewarded with warm delicious pizza.

I guess if I didn’t take up this opportunity, I would have never experience the rush of adrenaline that filled my veins up and would look like a chicken in front of others.

Early in the morning, a young man by the name of Bob Sheldon aged 18 was stabbed, he died shortly after being stabbed by a greaser, he did this while his friend was being drowned. A witness at scene reported this incident. The witness was involved in the incident as well, as he was the one that was drowning the other greaser. Their name was Johnny Cade and Ponyboy Curtis. The witness fled with his gang members shortly after bob was stabbed, as Ponyboy passed out. Now these 2 teenagers are on the run and are dangerous, so do not approach these 2 teens. We have no further information of where they could be heading but we do know they have friends that do.

Best Writing

SEXXXY 1 Sound effects in “The Power of One” were used effectively.	For example John G Avildsen  used this technique during the hand him up scene with the chicken hanging.	This makes the audience feel  the intensity in the scene.	The director's purpose was to make the scene more dramatic.	This combined with music made this more dramatic .	This can be link to the film “Star Wars” with the effect of the lightsabers where they fight each others.
SEXXXY 2 Along with sound effects, Low angle and high angle shots were used amazingly in the film.	For example with the scene of Geel Piet And Sgt Boorman in the prison.	This makes  us feel that Sgt Boorman has authorities and power over Geel Piet.	This was done to show that prisoners  never had power over the guards.	Combined with costume made us think they were in a prison with the costumes of the prisoners and the guards.	This can be seen later on in the film outside the concert where Sgt Boorman is beating Geel Piet up that Sgt Boorman had way more power than Geel Piet did.
SEXXXY 3 Close ups were really important during the film along side the sound effects and low and high angle shots.	For example we see this with the poo in the the scene where Geel Piet had to eat poo.	This created sad effect to see someone do this to others.	This was done to show punishments for not following rules and orders.	Combine with the sound effect of the flies this made us thought it was actual poo not fake poo.	This can be linked to almost to any film where there would be close ups of other people's faces  and their emotions and feelings.
SEXXXY 4 Symbolism was another important technique, alongside the  closeups, sound effects and low and high angle shots.	For example with the scene where we see the medicine man help P,k.	This  shows us that elephants were symbolising courage and strength.	The purpose was to show deeper meaning to the elephants.	Combined with a flashback during the fighting scene of P,k and Gideon's fight where P.K gets knocked out and has a flashback to the scene wit the elephants which gave him to courage to fight more.	This can be linked to other items in the film such as the Bracelet given to him by his mother, which symbolised love and was given to Marry by P.k.
